Top 10 F1 Drivers 2022

Hi there everyone! Wow it has been a loooooong time since I've posted a blog. Hopefully from now on I'll be posting more often. To make up for the last 8 months (oops) I'm doing Top 10 instead of Top 5. Hope you enjoy!

First of all, if you don't know what Formula One (F1) is let me provide a simple definition: Formula One is a type of motor racing. But trust me there are so many rules in F1 I don't even know them all! Secondly, a F1 race is called Grand Prix which is confusing for some people because (a) you pronounce it 'grand pri' not 'grand prix' and (b) the plural form of Grand Prix is Grands Prix but I have decided to try not use that as it sounds weird. Ok I think we should get started now. Here are my ratings of the Top 10 F1 drivers of 2022.

1. Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton is my favourite driver in F1. To me he seems like a really nice person as he congratulates people and doesn't complain or moan like some people who's name rhymes with "schmax". He has won 7 world championships (tied with Michael Schumacher) and has 103 race wins. I rate him a 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale (wow I've missed saying that).

2. Max Verstappen

Sorry to all the Max fans out there but I dislike Max A LOT. I think he is a big moaner (like his boss). He complains a lot and he is quite arrogant. He (unfortunately) won his first championship last year. It was a race between him and Lewis as their points were both 369.5. I rate him a 2 out of 10 on the Radness Scale because to be honest he really isn't that rad.

(I just want to slap his face)

3. Sergio Pérez

Sergio "Checo" Pérez is Max's teammate (I'd rather think of it the other way round) and he is a great driver. He won his first grand prix in 2020 after almost 10 years. He races under the Mexican flag for Red Bull and for the 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix he became the first Mexican to take pole in qualifying. I rate him a 9 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

4. Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc (pronounced sharl le-clair) is a Monegasque driver who races for Ferrari with Carlos Sainz Jr. His first win was the 2019 Belgian Grand Prix and his latest was the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix where him and his partner came first and second. I rate him a 9 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

5. Carlos Sainz Jr.

Most people call him Carlos Sainz but as I don't want to cause confusion with him and his dad so I have added "junior" at the end (that's his full name). He is a Spanish racer who is still looking for his first Grand Prix win. He is good friends with McLaren driver, Lando Norris, despite the 5 year age gap. I rate him an 8 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

6. Pierre Gasly

Pierre Gasly is a French driver who drives for AlphaTauri. He used to race for Red Bull alongside Max but then he moved to AlphaTauri with his teammate, Yuki Tsunoda (pronounced you-ki su-no-da). His first win was the 2020 Italian Grand Prix and hopefully it won't be his last. I rate him a 8.5 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

7. George Russell

To be honest, if George Russell hadn't moved to Mercedes he wouldn't even be on this list. But at the last race he had outqualified his teammate (Lewis) and he came 5th in the Grand Prix! He used to be racing for Williams but he took Valtteri's place this year. Fun fact, he is the third tallest driver in F1 currently, just a centimetre shorter than Alex Albon and Esteban Ocon. He is still searching for his first race win which might come this year. I rate him 7 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

8. Fernando Alonso

This Spanish driver is the oldest driver on the grid. Kimi Raikkonen used to have that title but sadly he retired last year at the age of 42. Fernando is currently 40 so you never know, he might go longer than Kimi. His last race win was the 2013 Spanish Grand Prix (9 years without a win!). He races for Alpine with his partner, Esteban Ocon. He is popular as he has been racing for a while and I rate him a 6.5 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

9. Valtteri Bottas

The reason Valtteri is on here is because he was one of my favourite drivers last year and still is. He used to race for Mercedes but, as I mentioned, George Russell took his place. He is a Finnish driver who now races for Alfa Romeo with Zhou Guanyu (pronounced jo guang-you) or Guanyu Zhou as they also call him. His first win was the 2017 Russian Grand Prix and I rate him a 9.5 out of 10.

10. Kevin Magnussen

Bet that surprised you! I put Kevin Magnussen on here because he came 5th at the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix which is the highest Haas (his team) has finished since 2018. He came 9th in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, finishing 1 place ahead of Lewis Hamilton. He used to race for Haas but he was dropped with his old teammate, Romain Grosjean. He returned this year to replace Nikita Mazepin and now races with his teammate Mick Schumacher. I rate him a 9 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

So there we go! If you have bee
n a fan of F1 since last year here's a video to watchWATCH: F1 ANIMATED! The funny side of 2021" (formula1.com

Top 5 Best Kruger Sightings

I'm sure we've all been to game reserves. You ALWAYS want to see the rarest things. 3 weeks ago we went to the Kruger National Park and here are some of our favourite sightings. (There's even an extra bonus sighting at the end!)

1. Cheetahs

We were very lucky to see 2 cheetahs on our trip. We were driving on the Sweni Road when we saw a car alone. Suddenly, 2 cheetahs crossed the road! We were all so excited and we were the only ones that saw it (well other than that one car but they drove away)! Soon the cheetahs walked off into the distance. That was such a lucky sighting so I rate it 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

2. Wild Dogs

I think the wild dogs were one of my favourite sightings out of the whole trip. We were on our way to Olifants (the camp) when we stumbled upon a whole lot of cars. I immediately was excited because it had to be something cool. Then my dad spotted 2 wild dogs under a tree. We were taking pictures when another 2 appeared. They stood still for a little bit and then started walking passed the cars. We turned around to catch them but by then they had disappeared into the bush. I rate this sighting 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

3. Sable Antelope

This was the first Sable Antelope I had ever seen. At first when we saw the car we saw nothing. Then I saw a brown shape in the bush and it turned out to be a Sable! It was standing still for a while and then it jumped into the bushes. We actually also saw another one behind the first one (this was about 3 hours before we saw the 2 cheetahs). I rate this sighting a 9.5 out of 10.

4. Honey Badger

When we saw the honey badger it was very lucky because we actually saw it very early in the morning. It was quite close to us but we couldn't get a great picture because of all the grass so we could only see its back. It was still a cool sighting so I rate it an 8.5 out of 10.

5. Leopard
We saw lots of far away leopards but this one was walking on the side of the road and then crossed it. It might only be a 20 second leopard but it was still really cool. Plus we were the only people that saw it! I think it was one of the best leopard sightings that we had so I rate it a 9 out of 10.

Wait!!! Don't go yet! Remember I said that there was a bonus sighting at the end? Well this sighting was one of the sightings that we saw when we went on a Sunset Drive. We saw such great things but my favourite one was.....

BONUS SIGHTING: LIONS WITH CUB
Yip that was my favourite sighting were the lions with a cub. There were 3 lionesses and one of them had a cub. They were first on the road but then our massive, loud truck scared them into the bush. At least we could still see them. I really enjoyed this sighting so I rate it a 10 out of 10.

These were only a few sightings that we saw. Some other animals include multiple lions, an elephant herd drinking, a civet, African wild cat and rhinos being dehorned. This was one of the luckiest trips ever. I hope you enjoyed the blog!

5 things to draw when you're bored

Let's say you decided to draw. You get out your paper, pencil, gel pens or whatever you like to draw with. You sit down and say, "Right what am I going to draw?" One hour later... "What am I going to draw!!!!!!?????" But now you'll know exactly what to draw. For a while...

1. Unicorns

You might think unicorns are quite hard to draw (well, realistic ones are) but actually they are quite easy once you've drawn a lot of them. I find unicorns quite easy. Maybe it's because I've drawn them so many times or watched lots of "How to draw a unicorn" videos. Whatever the case I recommend trying it.

2. Inspiring Messages

What you can do is write a famous quote on a piece of paper or you notebook or whatever you want to write in. Make sure to write it big and bold so that it stands out. Next, you decorate around it and on the words. Finally, admire it and give yourself a pat on the back.

3. Invent your own animal

Inventing your own animal is quite simple. There is an animal called a liger which is actually a lion mixed with a tiger (it is a real animal. If you don't believe me google it!). My favourite one that I made is called the duckliraffe. Its a duck, lion and giraffe mixed together. You can imagine what that looks like! Here's an example of what I would call a... Sharkaroo?

4. 3D pictures

You are probably like, "Oh my goodness 3D Pictures!? That's a bit extreme!". 3D pictures look hard but actually, if you learn the steps, its not that hard. I once tried to draw a 3D triangle thing and actually the lady shaded in most of the parts so it wasn't that difficult. I think you should definitely try draw it.

5. Create your own land

I think creating a land is quite simple. I like coming up with names for my like Zoë Town or something like that. Next, you add houses, restaurants or whatever you want in your land. You can also add a description at the back of the page if you want. Remember to add lots of colour too!

I hope you like these ideas and remember if you fail the first time practice, practice, practice!

Top 5 Best Movies

Don't you just love curling up in a blanket on your couch right in front of the TV? Then suddenly, a thought hits you! What are you going to watch!!! But now thanks to this blog you're reading right now that will never happen again! These movies are for children aged between 6-12. Or for grown-ups who just like kiddies movies.

1. The Queen's Corgi

The Queen's Corgi is about a dog called Rex who is the Queen's top dog. Rex gets betrayed by his best friend called Charlie, and then he goes to a place where they keep dogs with no owners and strays. Rex makes lots of friends and has a big adventure. I rate this movie a 9.5 out of 10 on the Radness Scale and would recommend it to people who love dogs and action.

2. Spies in Disguise

Spies in Disguise is about a secret agent called Lance Sterling
and his companion called Walter Beckett. Walter accidently turns Lance into a pigeon and he has to help Lance stop a bad guy they call Robohand because, well, he has a robot hand. This is a really cool movie and I rate it a 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale and recommend it to people who like comedy and mischief.

3. Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog is one of my favourite movies. It is about a hedgehog that lived in a land but it got destroyed. Sonic then has to use his rings to go to earth. A bad guy called Dr. Robotnik (another robot name!) wants to catch him. Sonic meets a guy called Tom (also known as the Donut Lord) and together they stop the Doctor. I really loved Sonic and people who like comedy and adventure will love this. I rate it a 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

4. Uglydolls

Uglydolls is about a doll called Moxy and her friends. They live in Uglyville and Moxy has always wanted to know what its like in the real world. Together, Moxy and her friends find out lots of things while Lou, the best doll in the Institute of Perfection, tries to stop her. I quite enjoyed this movie and I think most people would love it. I rate it a 9 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

5. Scoob!

Scoob! is a movie about, you guessed it, Scooby Doo. Scooby and his owner named Shaggy are part of a team that hunts ghosts. Then a villain called Dick Dastardly tries to steal Scooby to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. Scooby and Shaggy get taken by a kind of superhero called The Falcon Fury or Brian. Together they all defeat the evil villain and I think people who like adventure and action would enjoy this. I rate it a 8.5 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

I hope you will check out all these movies and see what you think!

The Best Gifts to buy (for 7-11 years)

Do you ever have no idea what to buy for someone's birthday? That always happens to me too! So since that usually happens to everyone, here are some ideas (mostly things to buy for kids).

1. Giotto Kokis

Giotto is a brand that makes cool kokis and they can do all sorts of things. In one of the packs you can draw on T shirts, shoes and more. I think this is a brilliant gift for someone who is artistic and I would highly recommend it.

2. Yokico Book Safe

This is a good present for someone who likes to store stuff in a special place. It looks like a book when you see it but when you open it you will see a safe and inside there are keys. This is an awesome gift for storing special treasures and I'm sure most kids would really love one of these.

3. Minecraft Annual 2020

If you know someone who really likes Minecraft (video game) then this is the book for them. It tells you all about Minecraft for the next year and it is also a really fun activity book. If you were to buy one now for someone, you would have to buy the 2021 book.

4. Lego City

I'm sure everyone loves to play with Lego. This present would be for someone you likes building things. There are so many things that you can build in Lego city. I really enjoyed building a pizza van. I think that everyone would enjoy building Lego, not just people that like building things.

5. Top Trumps

Top Trumps is a very fun card game and has nothing got to do with Donald Trump. You get lots of different topics like Predators, Snakes, Superheroes and more! I recommend it to people that like playing card games.

I hope this was helpful and you'll buy these gifts for your friends.

Facts about the Big Five

I'm sure we all love going to game reserves right? Whenever I go to the Kruger Park there is something I always want to see. You guessed it, The Big Five. So since I love the Big Five so much here are some facts about them.

1. Lion

One of my favourite animals, the lion can weigh up to 250kgs! They live in groups called prides and they are believed to have the loudest roar amongst the big cats. I think these animals are very cool so I rate them a 9.5 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

2. Elephant

The African bush elephant can live up to 60 - 70 years and they weigh 6000kgs!!! Their tusks are actually teeth, and calves can stand within 20 minutes of birth. How amazing is that? Their speed is 40km/h and you can tell the African and Asian apart by their ears. Isn't that cool? I rate the elephant a 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

3. Buffalo

True buffalo only live in Asia and Africa. They are considered an adult when they are only 3 years old! They can live to be 30 years old (I wouldn't really like it if I only lived till I was 30) and they weigh 590kgs as an adult. That's very heavy! I rate the buffalo a 9 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

4. Rhinoceros

My favourite animal, the white rhino can live up to 40 - 50 years and they live in groups called a crash. Their speed is 50km/h and they weigh 2300kgs! Did you know that their horn is made from the same stuff as our fingernails? And remember to help save the rhino! I rate them a 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

5. Leopard

The leopard can run up to 58km/h and live up to 12 -17 years. Most leopards are light coloured and have dark spots (called rosettes) on their fur. The males weigh 31kgs while the females weigh 23 - 27kgs. They are very strong swimmers and I rate them a 9.5 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

I hope you enjoyed learning some fun facts about the Big five.

Top 5 best Ice cream flavours

Does it ever happen to you when you want to get an ice cream, but you never know what flavour to get? That usually happens to me too. So since that happens I have decided to review The Creamery's top 5 ice cream flavours (If you didn't know, The Creamery is my favourite ice cream place, I highly recommend it).

1. Cookie Dough

It may sound simple and boring but Cookie Dough has been my all time favourite flavour since forever! They always put a lot of cookie crumbs in it and whenever I get it I always get a big chunk of cookies! I rate it a 9.5 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

2. Malted Milk

This also sounds like another boring flavour but malted milk is actually quite a yummy flavour. I think its very creamy tasting. But it's quite weird that even if I take the tiniest of bites I always get brain freeze! This doesn't usually happen to me with other flavours, but I rate this flavour a 9 out of 10 on the Radness Scale

3. Woodstocky Road

It only became my favourite flavour recently but it just tasted so amazing!!! My favourite thing about it is that it has melted marshmallows inside! My taste buds almost exploded it was so yummy! And the chocolate ice cream was very nice. The one thing I couldn't understand is that I think they put milo or coffee granules inside. But still I rate it 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.
4. Milk Tart

I think Milk Tart was a very yummy flavour, the only thing they could have added more milk tartyness in it. There were milk tart crust bits in it, which is delicious. And it had vanilla ice cream in which was nice. But yes, they definitely could have added more milk tart in. I rate it a 8.5 on the Radness Scale.

5. Millionaire Shortbread
This flavour was so delicious (just as it sounds) because it had chocolate and caramel in, it had the shortbread taste, it was just so amazingly yummy!!!! I also really loved the look of it. This flavour was so good I don't think I have anything bad to say about it! I rate it a 10 out of 10 on the Radness Scale.

I hope this review was helpful and if you haven't had a Creamery ice cream go check them out immediately!

Top 10 F1 Drivers 2022
